I share a classroom with the ELL teacher here, and witness some interesting moments and conversations with her students (who are also my students). Today:
Student 1: Can you help me spell chicken?
*Ms. O explains that he knows the word because last year he wrote all about how getting paid to eat chicken would be his dream job*
*Student starts spelling it out*
Student 1: I like chicken pizza!"
Student 2: (This student hardly says anything most of the time) EW!
I guess it was funnier if you were there..
